Introduction

If you’re looking for not just a bow, but functional art with elements inspired by such things as the frescos of the monasteries of Serbia, or you’re looking for a heavier than average LAMINATED bow, look no further than Studio Otesei Artist Veteran and bowyer legend Misko Ravconan of MR BOWS.

Misko is a longtime archery enthusiast and his passion eventually led him to wanting to create bows that would delight his customers, using techniques of old and some artistic embellishments of his own choosing.

All bows come with a 2 year warranty.

A Message From Misko himself:

“You can find several different models offered here, some of which are based on their technical characteristics and historical replica records. Other models are constructed by arbitrary personal experiences and ideas of mine. I make bows with a strength from 25-150 pounds”

Misko’s bows are suitable for customers of all archery levels, from amateur to professional and even competition. He uses quality materials to make fiberglass laminated bows of transparent or black fiberglass, a stable core, micarta, epoxy resin and dacron for tendons. The woods used range from the domestic to exotic.

Ash is the primary material used as a base for making limbs, very elastic and resistant. For handrails I use: Walnut, Ash, Plum, Pear, and Cherry. Of the exotic wood species he uses Zebra, Wenge, Paduk, Olive, and Purple Heart.

Bow length for Tiron: 50”, 55”, 60” or 68”
Bow length for Despot: 47”, 57” or 67”
Bow length for Varjag: 64” or 66”
Bow Strength: from #25 to #150 (pound draw weight)
Riser wood: Walnut, Ash, Plum, Pear, and Cherry. Of the exotic wood species he uses Zebra, Wenge, Paduk, Olive, and Purple Heart.
Limb Type: Original or thin
Nock Type: Fresco or thin
Riser Reinforcement: Diamond or squared
