Culture Toronto is going to help

Here are some ground rules for collaborating with us:

Refunds: Culture Toronto has a no-refund policy, however, whatever was spent becomes credit with Culture Toronto in the event that a customer pays for something they didn’t get.

Ticket Sales Exclusivity: All ticket sales on collaborations must be conducted exclusively through our website, www.culturetoronto.com. This ensures that all transactions are traceable, are eligible for commissions and are properly taxed. There are no cash deals.

Non-Compete Clause: Clients agree not to sell tickets through any other means or platforms besides www.culturetoronto.com during the term of the agreement.

Transaction Fees: Every time money is collected on our website, Culture Toronto is charged by the services used to get that money from the customer to us in addition to fees by services that maintain our online hosting. Expect a transaction fee of 6%.

Customer Information Handling: All communications and customer information collected through ticket sales on www.culturetoronto.com are the property of Culture Toronto. There are strict laws against sharing or selling customer information, especially in regards to emails and communications.

Confidentiality: Information shared during collaborations, such as tactics or sensitive financial details of the collaboration itself, are confidential in order to protect parties involved.

Payment Terms: Up until the last minute of the event, money from our guests is not secured as there may be no-shows or extreme situations in which a refund would be considered. After the event, money will begin being transferred to you within 48 hours. Please understand that when money is collected online, there are often processing times. You shouldn’t wait more than 2 weeks for your funds to be delivered in full via e-transfer, PayPal or another desired online method agreed upon.

Safety: While Culture Toronto is going to spearhead the marketing of the event, including deployment of ads and other tactics to increase sales, you are responsible for safety and ensuring that your product or experience is not harmful in any way, shape or form to customers.

Breach of Contract: The consequences of breaching the terms of our collaboration are at the discretion of Culture Toronto and include potential termination of the agreement, withholding funds and legal action.
