Not too long ago, an animated film called Kubo and The Two Strings practically revived “While My Guitar Gentle Weeps” with its story that was admittedly inspired by the song. The main character plays guitar and does a great rendition of this song creating what I’ll simply call “origami magic” - clearly from the line “nobody told you how to unfold your love.” This is me trying to learn this one. I would say 14 days is a good amount of time to really get a song performable…
Originally the song gained popularity from the Beatles performing it but it was written by George Harrison.
As far as guitar performances of this song go, perhaps none are as exciting as the one with Prince playing alongside The Beatles. Brace yourself :)
