Archery and Community with Culture Toronto

As nearly 40 people gathered at our first target shooting event at Battle Sports Inc, a long time partner, it became clear to me that Culture Toronto is about community and being part of a big family, not just a one off interaction. So many friendly faces came out, anime heads like Elissa, videogamers like Jonathan who brought his friend with the good aim, old university buddies like Arshad and Vedran, martial arts heads like Fayez and Jean-louis and their wonderful families, and many unexpected pros and joes that came to try their luck at archery.

For me archery is something that’s beautiful to include in your life. There are traditions in every culture, from the Egypt to China and everywhere in between. It’s a method for war, but in times of peace, there is always value in continuing to shoot - whether to strengthen your back or just to work through the act of aiming for a goal and then making making adjustments until that goal is achieved.
