Greetings from the other side of our third Double Feature. Let us start by extending a hearty and heart felt thank you to all of the amazing folks who joined us on the 17th at the Fox Theatre. Thank you for enjoying 'Kiki's Delivery Service', thank you for enjoying 'Your Name', thank you for supporting us, celebrating with us and enjoying. The day was full of colourful costumes, colorful people, cake and lots of laughs.
As ever we further pushed our limits to bring our fans the very best experience we could. Returning special guest Bear Sailor Moon was joined by Toronto's own Last Son Cosplay entertaining as Flynn Ryder. To top it off we were joined by 1 2 Shine's dance stylings.
After a fun kerfuffle regarding subs and dubs and a few false starts we carried on to what was our biggest event yet and a surprise birthday gift for our founder Sherif, as well as eerily, the cosplay host Breathelifeindeeply (they were born on the same day, same year, #HAUNTED).
The cast and crew of Culture Toronto outdid themselves this year and after some needed R&R we'll be back in April to celebrate our one year anniversary with even more Ghibli and animated fun, including a movie that has never before been shown in Canada!
